Terms and regulations
Welcome to RENTALMAR. We hope you enjoy a pleasant stay on the Costa Dorada and have a wonderful time with us.
When collecting the keys, you must pay a deposit of €50 per person, with a minimum of €100-€400, which will be refunded upon departure, provided that the current regulations detailed below have been respected at all times:
- It is strictly forbidden to make noise, play music or disturb the neighbours. Parties are completely prohibited, as is any antisocial behaviour. Failure to comply with this rule may result in eviction from the apartment and/or the withholding of the deposit.
- Throwing any liquid or object from the apartment will result in immediate eviction and a report being made to the police.
- It is not permitted to accommodate more people than those listed on the booking or to invite anyone into the apartment. By law, the number of people in the apartment must never exceed the stated capacity. Third parties who are not staying in the apartment may not enter it, nor may they access the terrace, swimming pool or other communal areas.
- Rentalmar has a minimum age requirement for staying in our apartments, which varies depending on the accommodation selected. You must check that the booking holder meets this requirement; otherwise, they will be refused entry upon arrival at reception.
- Pets must be registered at reception, and you must ensure that they do not cause disturbance or noise; otherwise, they may not be left alone in the apartment. The maximum permitted weight is 20 kg per pet.
- Ball games are not permitted anywhere on the premises, and inflatable items may not be taken into the swimming pool. Swimming is only permitted in conventional swimwear; burkinis are not allowed.
- When leaving, and before returning the keys, please make sure that your apartment is in suitable condition for inspection: no broken or damaged items, rooms clean, clothing put away, kitchenware washed and no rubbish left behind (all rubbish must have been placed in the street containers). Upon departure, a member of our team will inspect the apartment and authorise the return of the deposit where appropriate.
- Do not leave any food or bathroom items for our employees, even if they are completely sealed. The apartment must be left empty.
- On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated and ready for inspection by 10:00 a.m. If you wish to leave after 10:00 a.m., you must request this at reception the previous day. Late departure is subject to availability and payment of a supplement.
- The apartment you occupy forms part of a residential community. We therefore ask you to respect the premises, keep the facilities clean and quiet, and refrain from hanging clothes or towels over the terrace railings.
- On the day of departure, the apartment keys must be returned when checking out at one of our receptions; if the receptions are closed, the keys must be placed in the external letterboxes provided at each location. Keys must not be left inside the apartments.
- The company accepts no responsibility for personal belongings left in the apartment. We recommend renting one of the safety deposit boxes made available by RENTALMAR.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the total or partial withholding of the deposit and may lead to eviction from the apartment.
Dear guest, you are in one of the safest areas in Europe; however, to ensure a calm and pleasant holiday with us, we suggest taking the necessary security measures and following the tips below:
- When leaving the apartment, lock the door and check that the windows and terrace doors are properly closed.
- Do not leave valuables in the apartment, especially documents, jewellery, money, keys, mobile phones, ipads, cameras or laptops.
- Keep your apartment key safe at all times. Losing it can facilitate thefts in your apartment and may incur an extra charge.
- Notify the police (phone 112) if you notice any suspicious activity near your apartment.
At RENTALMAR we hope you enjoy your holidays on the Costa Dorada, and we remind you that we are not responsible for thefts in the apartments. Safety is everyone’s responsibility!
We are at your disposal for any additional information you may need. Please contact our reception if you need to rent a parking space, cots, or safes, as well as tickets to Port Aventura, Ferrari Land, Aquopolis, Nautic Park or excursions. We also offer towel rental or purchase, a cleaning kit or a sheet change. Do not hesitate to ask us!
Thank you very much,
The reception team
On arrival, and prior to key handover for the apartment, the guest must have paid the full amount of the reservation and deposited the full amount of the corresponding security deposit. It is essential to identify yourself, present the passport or ID of all persons included in the reservation, and sign acceptance of the “Terms and Conditions”, provided together with the receipt for the deposit payment, which must be kept for the entire stay.
The security deposit ranges from €100 to €400, depending on the accommodation. It must be paid by card.
If the guest cancels the reservation during the stay, it will be a cancellation with charges (100% of the reservation). A request to change dates or apartment during the stay will be understood as a cancellation with charges (100% of the reservation).
The purpose of the deposit is to guarantee that the holiday home and its contents are returned in the same condition as delivered, except for wear resulting from rational use. Likewise, the points established in the RENTALMAR APARTMENTS Rules must be observed and complied with at all times during the stay; they can be consulted at www.rentalmar.com/en/rules-conditions
The deposit will be fully refunded provided the property and its contents are returned in the same condition as delivered.
The guest, both for their own acts and for those of the people staying with them and any guests or visitors accessing the property, must:
- Respect the designated quiet hours, from 22:00 to 09:00.
- Not hold any party or gathering that exceeds the limit of registered occupants of the holiday home.
- Dispose of rubbish in the containers located outside the building.
The guest will be responsible for any damage caused to the holiday home and its accessories, as well as to the building’s common areas, whether caused by them, their companions or their visitors. RENTALMAR APARTMENTS will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the guest’s property; the guest is solely responsible for such loss or damage. The guest undertakes to return the holiday home and its accessories at the end of the stay in a reasonable state of cleanliness and without rubbish or waste inside. Otherwise, and charged against the deposit, RENTALMAR APARTMENTS will charge a fee of €100. If the value of the damage exceeds the remaining deposit, RENTALMAR APARTMENTS is expressly authorised by the guest to make the necessary charges to the credit card specified for the deposit or reservation. A €20 fee (per unit) will be charged for lost towels or sheets.
In the event that the guest does not voluntarily vacate the holiday home or fails to return the keys on the date indicated in the reservation confirmation, they must compensate RENTALMAR APARTMENTS for each day they extend their stay without authorisation or retain the keys, at five times the nightly price of the reservation.
The guest must personally occupy the holiday home and may not assign their right of use arising from the Reservation Confirmation to third parties, nor authorise more occupants than those indicated in the “Reservation Confirmation”. RENTALMAR APARTMENTS is not responsible for the loss, theft or deterioration of tenants’ personal belongings.
RENTALMAR APARTMENTS is not responsible for wifi/internet service outages due to causes attributable to the operator.
The guest consents to RENTALMAR APARTMENTS charging €100 from the deposit for each set of keys not returned.
